Health Care Reform Tax Credit Impact on Small Business

Recently I was sent a file from our Health Care Broker, Smallwood.  Included is a calulation and how to determine the tax credit for the year 2010 for small business employers offering health care to employees and paying 50% or more of the premiums.  I calculated the impact this would have had on American Clay Works & Supply Company if this credit had exsisted last year.  We would have recieved a credit for over $10,000.00.  This was the first document I had seen that actually gives the parameters for calculation and I thought it would be useful to those in NAHSA.  Please click here to download Smallwood's Employer Tax Credit 2010 Q&A.
